Volcanic Associations in Tertiary Formations in Meghalaya

Abstract

This paper records the occurrence of volcanic rocks associated with the Tertiary sediments in Meghalaya. They are acidic in composition and can be classed as 'Ash falls and Ash flows,' indicative of explosive volcanic activity during early Tertiary times.
